Kim Vardal (b. 1990) is a danish visual artist with a passion for strong colors, the delicate balance between chaos and structure, and reimagining the overlooked beauty of vandalism and the interesting small details we might otherwise overlook in our everyday environment.
She sought refuge in art when her career in the gaming industry came to an abrupt halt, while balancing her new role as a mother and accepting her previously overlooked autism, which became the missing piece in a lifelong puzzle. Her art is where she fights an inner battle against perfectionism and control, letting go versus coherency.
